The first Ultrajazz pop-up concert is a special one: trumpeter extraordinaire Ruben Drenth joins forces with piano-legend Bert van den Brink, who has played with the likes of Chet Baker and Lee Konitz. Their duo is tailor made for the intimate setting of Touchstone Atelier.

The Theodore Lotis Trio is a modern jazz group founded in Utrecht in October 2025. Led by guitarist and composer Theodore Lotis, the trio performs original music and selected melodies shaped by a strong focus on collective improvisation.

In early May, Rosa Westerbaan her debut EP will be released! To celebrate this, she will give an intimate concert with the whole band in the cozy space of Touchstone.

In this concert you will hear classical Ottoman pieces, some Black Sea, Greek and Catalan traditional songs, and original compositions inspired by them. The power of the resonance of the strings and the non temperate melodies are some of the elements in common in all the styles mentioned previously.
