YIP - The World in Blue

YIP (They/Them) is an indie-folk musician and performance maker based in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Blending folky guitar sounds with dreamy vocals and occasional rock and pop influences, the singer doesn’t like to stick to one genre and let’s the music guide the outcome.

On Saturday January 24th, YIP brings a very special and intimate version of their work The World In Blue to Touchstone. In the music performance The World In Blue YIP showcases the stories and experiences of people diagnosed with autism at a later age. With dreamy indie-folk songs and a sensitive performance, the audience enters the world of someone with autism. How do you grow up? And how do you learn to live with yourself? Both before and after the diagnosis.
