Yiorgos Bereris - Sea in Common

Sea In Common is the new project by pianist and composer Yiorgos Bereris. It is inspired by the sounds that stayed with him while travelling through the Mediterranean and the Balkans, by conversations with people who move through life in a constant search, quietly carrying hope within. The in-between moments when everything slows down and you let your imagination wander.

He builds his music around a jazz piano trio, joined by a violin and a viola, balancing between contemporary jazz, Greek folk and cinematic music. Following his earlier releases Laros (2023) and Sigá y Silente (2024), “A Sea In Common” continues Bereris’s personal story-shaping through composition and ensemble sound.
