Ultrajazz pop-up concert: Ernst Glerum trio

We're back with a bang! Ultrajazz is very proud to present the Ernst Glerum Trio in Touchstone on the 30th of september.

Ernst Glerum is one of the highest regarded bass players in the Netherlands, and tonight he is coming to Ultrajazz to play... the piano.

Primarily known for his work with the ICP Orchestra featuring a.o. Han Bennink and Misha Mengelberg, Glerum has made a name for himself as a bandleader who fosters sensitive and playful interplay. In recent years, he has released multiple trio records with different line ups. His current trio features two exciting young hemelbestormers from the Amsterdam scene: bassist Anja Gottberg and drummer Giacomo Camilletti.

Expect quirky and beautiful tunes in the spirit of Monk, Misha Mengelberg, and above all: the one and only Ernst Glerum.
