Toulib is a project born out of mutual love for the deep music tradition of the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean region. Trying to create parallels and synergy between the Oud and western instruments, it blends the Maqam system with contemporary jazz.

Toulib is Talal Fayad (Oud), Lester de Villiers (bass) and Peter Jan van Kaam (drums).
