Suura & Pericles Makris

Suura is an instrumental band that floats in the elasticity between fluctuating spaces and granular outlooks. Bringing forth layered structures in which the observer indulges itself in profound, lush, endlessness meandering streams.

Think of ambient folk, drone, texture and sound improvisation. They will present work from their latest album 'Stuve' but also new work.

Pericles Makris is a guitarist from Athens, Greece, whose travels and musical research brought him to the north of Europe. In the loving city of Utrecht, he will present his new improvised solo set, combining acoustic, electric and digital effected sounds, painting a picture of the ambience of the lowland countryside against the franticness of the modern gentrificated city.
