Main Act: “Songs Of Rage and Impotence” is characterized by a combination of modern jazz aesthetics, indie rock moods and contemporary electro-acoustic processing in the form of a quintet with live electronics. It fuses different musical styles, ranging from a subtle Andalusian-American guitar trio, via a choppy love ballad from the 90s, to contemporary pure-electronic soundscapes supplemented with a touch of mischievous calypso.

This project raises important issues often overlooked in modern jazz, such as climate anxiety and powerlessness in the face of social injustices, while using the power of live music to bring hope and lightness. The thoughtful titles are intended to spark meaningful conversations beyond the moment of performance. The story of each song is woven into a meta-narrative of protest music, presented in a playful way with the highest level of interactive improvisation.
