Red Oak Troubadours live at Touchstone

Introducing the Red Oak Troubadours, a group of humble musicians aiming to blend tradition and innovation in our sound. With a main lineup of guitar, mandolin, harmonica, and vocals, we are heavily influenced by the rich traditions of folk music, drawing inspiration from blues, African rhythms and American and Portuguese folk. We also have a deep appreciation for 60s and 70s rock and psychedelic music.

We like to experiment with the use of modern elements, such as effect pedals and sound modulations in our acoustic instruments to create intriguing soundscapes that can paint a background to help us carry on with the storytelling roots of folk music, using it as a bridge to connect the past with the possibilities of the future.
