A colorful mixture of traditional music from the South American continent and Mediterranean Europe are the initial flame that brought the two musicians of the duo PUMBA together.

Besides traditional songs they are inspired by jazz and pop elements and merge their distinct musical worlds into smoothly flowing soundscapes and captivating tunes.

Their own compositions come from a place of connection, virtuosity and humour and move somewhere between spherical melodies and groovy songs.

The listeners can expect an evening of playfulness - full of details, stillness and profound joy about our existence.

Annabella Raiona: vocals & violin - studied Turkish and Greek traditional music in Rotterdam and Thessaloniki, has strong personal and musical connections to Brasil and the Spanish speaking parts of the world.

Timon Grohs: guitar & pedal board - studied electric guitar in Linz, has spent much time in the world of jazz and feels inspired by the meeting point of voice and instrument and the beauty of simplicity.
