Poems from Ago live at Touchstone

Poems from Ago, a duo formed by Juliana Hahn and Remco Jacobs, compose and perform music to Irish Poetry. They select Irish poems that they hold deep in their hearts written by wonderful poets such as W.B. Yeats, James Joyce and Oscar Wilde as well as modern-day poets like Sinead Morrisey and Peter Fallon. They have a unique sound and style, blending harmonies and creating compositions that evolve from the meaning and imagery the chosen poem has inspired in them. A violin, a guitar and two voices will take you on a journey through Irish landscapes, emotions and images and encourage you to connect and find your own meaning in your experience while listening.
