Plain Talk is a songwriter duo rooted in transparency and connection. Two songwriters, HSTR and Ellis Newman - who both explored their ways as solo artists - join forces in this plain-spoken project. The heart of the duo is in the name: their music begins with ‘plain talk’ between friends.

Plain Talk is a songwriter duo rooted in transparency and connection. Two songwriters, HSTR and Ellis Newman - who both explored their ways as solo artists - join forces in this plain-spoken project. The heart of the duo is in the name: their music begins with ‘plain talk’ between friends.
This fall they'll release their debut EP 'Common Ground' which was recorded with producer Roy van Rosendaal. In Touchstone, they'll introduce themselves to the public with an intimate show.
