Nugara Trio live at Touchstone

Scholarship winners at the Nuoro Jazz 2021 seminars, pianist Francesco Negri, double bassist Viden Spassov and drummer Francesco Parsi form the Nugara Trio, which offers a repertoire of original music that combines the more traditional soul of jazz with more modern sounds with influences that touch on classical, rock and popular music. The three musicians, all very young, have performed on the main stage of Nuoro Jazz 2022 garnering praise from great artists in the field including Dado Moroni , Paolino Dalla Porta, Stefano Bagnoli and were guests at the Insulae Lab Jazz Production Center in Berchidda, strongly desired by Paolo Fresu. The Trio has begun a fruitful live activity that will take them, in addition to some of the major Italian clubs, on their first foreign tour to the Netherlands and Belgium starting in January 2023. They are ready for the beginning of the new year, to enter the recording studio and give life to their first record work that will be composed of original songs and will see the presence of at least one guest of national or international fame.
