Merem Live

Merem ensemble is a brand new band that mixes traditional and jazz music  together. They all met in Rotterdam during their studies in the  Conservatory and they have been together ever since. Their sound is  fresh and creative, travelling from traditional Greek music to jazz  arrangements and improvisations. During their performance they play  their own compositions and songs and also greek traditional/folk pieces,  proposed in their own aesthetics. They will perform new material they  have been working on and arrangements of old traditional songs they  love. They are currently working on their own compositions and preparing to record their first album. Merem's  members all come from Greece. In January 2021 they performed a tour in  the Netherlands, Belgium and France, spreading their music and meeting new people around Europe.
