Las niñas del matute live

Las niñas del matute is a quartet based in the Netherlands with Spanish background. Las niñas are four classical trained musicians exploring the Folk music from their own roots. The repertoire includes folk from different parts of Spain, mixing with other latin countries. Their motivation is to bring their roots and share them to all kinds of public, with the intention of making them part of this connection with their essence in their own way, applying all their knowledge to bring new arrangements of this traditional music, sometimes with interesting twists.

What is matute for us? “Reunion, party, relaxation”. We want to bring this environment to our performances to make people experience that word.
