Hamid & Kinsmit LIVE at Touchstone

Slide-guitarist and harmonica player Hamid Reza Behzadian and singer-songwriter Kinsmit got to know each other during the Culture Shock project organized by De Voorkamer, where they were asked to compose a song in one day together. It was there and then that they discovered a shared love for poetry, blues, and non-Western music that formed the start of their project in which they put parts of the poem ‘The Footsteps of Water’, by the Persian poet Sohrab Sepehri, to music. His poetry, which talks about life, love, and death, comes to life in bluesy and oriental songs.
