About the event
This Polish/Dutch guitar duo was formed when Piotr Lipowicz (1991) and Thijs de Klijn (1990) met in the masters program of the Conservatory of Amsterdam. Both players have an eclectic musical background including traditional jazz, rock, ambient/noise and pop projects. The result is a duo focusing on improvisation and interplay that dives into the depths of the jazz tradition. All the while they don’t shy away from opening their sound up with the use of effect pedals, playful compositions and excursions into different genres.
