Blues at Touchstone
This all started in the crazy times of the lockdown. The idea was to just meet and play some blues songs. Little did we know that it would develop into the longest running event at Touchstone! Our excitement to be among people who love early blues music developed in a project that goes beyond just playing songs in a gig format.
For each Blues Night we pick a different theme (Prohibition, death, sex, migration...) and build a playlist of blues classics that are relevant. Between the songs we connect these songs to African-American history and culture, share stories behind songs and trying to give the audience a more holistic experience.

Playing for dancers!
One of the things we enjoy the most is playing for blues dancers! This way we feel we really connect with what this music was about back in the old days.
We've had the opportunity to play in blues dancing events, after parties and swing festivals like the one in this photo.
